Bargain time at the recycling centre in Wisbech as clothes carted off by ‘grateful’ customers!

SUCH is the quality of the clothing dropped into a Fenland recycling bin that ‘bargain’ hunters have been removing some of it before the bin is emptied.

Photographer Brian Purdy spotted the bags of clothes being removed from the clothing and shoes recycling bin in Church Terrace car park, Wisbech.

“I was with a reporter in the car park talking to motorists about car parking charges when I noticed these two people removing bags from around the recycling bin,” he said.

“They were laughing and chatting and seemed very happy with themselves and presumably with their bargains.

“They strolled away like shoppers hitting the January sales.”
