Famous rapper and beatboxer Conrad Murray visited a Chatteris school to give a workshop on Friday.

The founder of the BAC Beatbox Academy, which has performed at Latitude Festival, the Royal Festival Hall and on the BBC with Gareth Malone, was on hand to help Year 10 music students at Cromwell Community College.

Gayna O’Rourke, music teacher, organised the event for her class and said: “Everyone joined in, including me, and it was a lot of fun.”

Conrad , who writes raps, stories and music studied at the BRIT School of performing arts where he studied drama and music.

Conrad is one half of theatre company Beats & Elements and the director of the BAC Beatbox Academy.

He is also a solo performance maker, and recently toured the UK with his one man show DenMarked.

He spent a month in Brazil working with the British Council and visiting indigenous tribes as well as working with inner city children in Rio.

Conrad has also appeared in a Harry Potter film and more recently in League of Nations.
