RESIDENTS of Beaupre Hall Grouped Home enjoyed a time of carol singing led by members of St Andrew's Methodist Church. The Rev Ann Bossingham gave a short address and the carols were accompanied on piano by Marjorie Robb.

On the third Sunday in Advent the morning worship was led by Allan Stapleton. The third candle on the Advent ring was lit by Christopher O'Shea Barnes and readings were by Stephanie O'Shea Barnes and Marcelle Mills. Bible readings were by Rebecca Norman and Ivy Sieley. Organist was Marjorie Robb with Carl Walters on electric organ. The Rev Mike Bossingham led the carol service at St Andrew's Methodist Church. Lessons were read by Margaret Morton, Audrey Harrison, David Rippon, Rosemary Chapman, Hazel Hancock and Bernard Morton. The collection was taken by Ivy Sieley and Angela French. Organist was Marjorie Robb. On the fourth Sunday in Advent the morning worship was led by Ivy Sieley and Bernard Morton. The fourth candle on the Advent ring was lit by Tracey Myers and the readings given by Joan Myers and Margaret Spicer. Bible readings were by Marcelle Mills and Margaret Spicer. The Sunday School children spelt the word PEACE in large letters which they had made, each child reciting words appropriate to their letter. After this, each child received a 'goody bag' made by Sunday School leaders. The church was full for the crib service on Christmas Eve, led by the Rev Ann Bossingham. Carl Waters played the electronic organ for the singing. A collection for NCH raised £150. Midnight communion was celebrated and led by the Rev Ann Bossingham assisted by the Rev Mike
