Budding journalist Ben Jolley has graduated from Nottingham Trent University after three years of study.
The 21-year-old former Chatteris Cromwell Community College and March Neale-Wade Academy pupil gained a 2:1 BA honours degree in print journalism.
Ben is the only child of Martyn and Clare Jolley of Chatteris.
He is currently working for this paper as a free-lance trainee journalist and will become a full-time member of staff later this year.
Ben’s girlfriend Lucy Howard, who attended his graduation ceremony with his proud parents and grandparents at the university on Monday, said: “I am extremely proud of him and it was a pleasure to be able to spend such a memorable day with him at his graduation.”
