YOUNGSTERS in Benwick are on target to take up archery thanks to customers of Anglia Co-operative.

A £300 donation has been made to 1st Benwick Scout Group from the Anglia Co-operative Community Fund.

The donation meant the scout group reached its £1,200 target to buy archery equipment.

Scout leader Rod Glen said: “We needed to raise £1,200 and, although we’ve had other donations and fund-raisers, the project wouldn’t have come off without Anglia Co-operative’s support.”

A cheque was presented to the group at Anglia Co-operative’s food store in Badgeney Road, March, by deputy store manager Deb Steward.
