A GROUP of big-hearted slimmers from Wisbech and Terrington did their bit for both their community and for their own health by taking part in a sponsored slim to raise money for Scotty’s Little Soldiers
Members of the Slimming World groups took part in the weight loss club’s national ‘Slim for Good’ campaign which aims to support communities across the UK by improving the health of local people and raising money for a local good cause at the same time.
Members of the groups voted for the local cause they most wanted to support, and Scotty’s Little Soldiers was the runaway winner.
An incredible 101 stone was lost during the six week campaign - making their loss Scotty’s Little Soldiers gain with a whopping £1030 raised.
