Nine priests and 10 deacons were ordained by the Bishop of Ely in two services at the cathedral, at the weekend.
The priests were ordained by the Rt Rev Stephen Conway in a service on Saturday. They are:
• Bridget Baguley (Cottenham All Saints; Rampton All Saints)
• Sid Bridges (The Ortons (Orton Longueville and Orton Waterville))
• Imogen Falvey (Sawtry and Glatton)
• Judith Gretton-Dann (The Good Shepherd, Chesterton)
• Helen Orr (Benefice of St Andrew, Chesterton)
• Judy Polkinhorn (The Lordsbridge Team)
• Jane Rees (Wisbech St Mary and Guyhirn with Ring’s End and Gorefield and Southea with Murrow and Parson Drove)
• Petra Shakeshaft (Cherry Hinton St John the Evangelist)
• Eleanor Whalley (St Neots)
On Sunday, 10 deacons were ordained by the bishop:
• Oli Benyon (Cambridge Holy Trinity)
• Rachel Blanchflower (The Good Shepherd, Chesterton)
• Monica Cameron (Great Shelford)
• Julia Chamberlin (Bluntisham cum Earith with Colne and Holywell cum Needingworth)
• Olivia Coles (Histon St Andrew; Impington)
• Staffan Dawkins (Stanground and Farcet)
• Robert Evans (Cambridge St Andrew the Less (Christ Church))
• Mark Fuller (Yaxley with Holme with Conington)
• David Newton (Ely Team Ministry)
• Helene Tame (St Neots)
