The RSCPA Block Fen Animal Centre has sent out a plea to landowners, farmers and stables to provide shelter for five cats that wouldn’t be able to cope in a normal home.

The Wimblington-based centre has five cats – Mitch, Rick, Lily, Cliff and Rico – who would ideally be re-homed in an outside setting with little human contact.

Laura Prince, cattery supervisor at Block Fen said: “We have been desperately trying to find separate homes for all five of these cats, but it’s proving much harder than we hoped.

“Ideally a farm or stable location would be great as it will give them the space they need to roam while keeping them in a safe environment away from busy traffic.

“Despite their lack of enthusiasm for human company the cats are all adorable and we really want to find them the best new home to suit their needs.”

All five cats are neutered, vaccinated, tested for FIV, microchipped, flead and wormed before being released.
