FRIENDS of Leverington Church are holding a garden party tomorrow (Saturday) at the Old Post Office in Church End from 2-5pm.
The event is being opened by ‘Blondie’ of Star Radio and organisers say the Red Arrows have said if possible they will fly over the garden on their way back from a display in Scotland.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Wisbech Grammar School Swing Band and there will be lots of stalls including cakes, plants, crafts, a raffle, balloon race and cream teas.
Money raised from the event will go towards repairs to the roof of the 13th Century church.
