Police are searching for the owner of a boat that has been left unattended on the River Nene in March.
They say that it has escaped its mooring on more than two occasions in the last week.
It is currently situated on the embankment near to Sainsbury’s.
In the post on Policing March and Chatteris yesterday, an officer writes: “This boat has escaped its mooring on more that two occasions in the last week.
“Today I managed to pull it back to the bank and secure it to a tree. If anyone knows the owner, can they please check it and secure it properly. Before it causes damage to other boats using the river.”
