HIGH winds have been blowing across Fenland - as two people found out when they tried to moor their narrowboat at March yesterday.
The blustery conditions caused havoc for the pair at the helm of ‘Dragonfly’ as they tried desperately to navigate their vessel to shore.
The boat was blown across the river and collided with both banks before it was eventually moored.
Meanwhile, the onslaught of high winds looks to set to continue in Fenland over the weekend. Forecasts predict wind speeds of up to 25mph across the district.
