A BODY has been discovered in a ditch in Ramsey.
Officers were called to a field off St Marys Road at 3.40pm on Tuesday, September 7.
A police spokesman said a farmer had found the body, thought to be that of an elderly man, when he was clearing out a ditch.
The spokesman added that the death is not being treated as suspicious and it is likely the body had been at the site for sometime.
DNA tests are now being carried out to try and identify the body.
