EVERY family has a history. Do you know yours? A course is starting to help those interested in doing some detective work.

Pete Edwards, who has been involved in family history for more than 20 years and has been teaching since 1994, is leading the course for those who would like to begin research - and those who have already started.

Mr Edwards said attending a course could save people wasting time pondering over research problems or trying to track down the source of records. He can also show cost-effective ways of researching.

There was a taster session at the College of West Anglia, Wisbech, yesterday (Thursday), but if you would like to join the course you can contact the college or Mr Edwards direct on 01733 204518.
