Boy, 11, charged with criminal damage after rescue from Wisbech store roof

AN 11-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged with causing criminal damage following an incident in Wisbech on Tuesday.

Police and firefighters were called to the market place at 9.30pm following reports that some youths were on the roof of the 99p Store. Three youths were subsequently arrested.

The boy has been bailed to appear at King’s Lynn Magistrates’ Court on June 12.

Two other boys, both aged 11, were reprimanded for criminal damage. One was also reprimanded for possessing an offensive weapon.
