FOR those with fond memories of the battle by PG Packaging at Coates to expand its business, the name will be familiar.
Mr Miscandlon attended numerous planning committees to raise objections and was particularly upset at noise levels which woke him too early.
Now I hear he’s become a fully paid-up member of the Tory Party and is set to replace Pam Potts representing Coates, Benwick and Eastrea.
Alex tells me a chance remark led to a call from Tory agents and the rest, as they say, is history.
