BRAKESPEARE: Most problematic selection battle for next May’s elections - Elm and Christchurch

THE difficulty of the battle is deciding which two out of three Tories should represent Christchurch and Elm.

Sitting councillors Phil Webb and Mac Cotterell would like another spell but some smart leg work by a handful of disaffected senior Tories has seen Christchurch parish councillor Will Sutton enter the fray.

The Conservatives gather sometime in January to decide their preferences - watch the storm clouds appear.
