A FENLAND policeman has been sacked for gross misconduct.
Confirmation came tonight in a brief statement from Cambridgeshire Police and followed a two day disciplinary hearing.
The sacked policeman was, until last year, stationed at Chatteris.
A police spokesman said: “I can confirm an officer was dismissed by the force for a number of disciplinary issues following a hearing last month.”
