FINISHING touches have been carried out all week at Elgood's Brewery and gardens, which will open its doors to tours on Tuesday.

The brewery and gardens will be open every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (11.30am-4.30pm) until the autumn. A tour of the brewery will take place on each of those days at 2pm.

The North Brink brewery and gardens tour will give visitors a chance to see how Elgood's award-winning beers are made using traditional methods, with guides on hand to answer questions about the brewing process. The tour will be followed by a chance to taste a selection of Elgood's beers.

- The brewery will holding its first plant and craft fair of the year on Sunday, May 13. The gardens will be open from 10am-4pm and entry to the fair will cost £3.
