The Waterlees in Bloom group are having a litter pick action day on Monday January 25 on the Waterlees ward and would like to invite any residents who would like to join us.

The group won silver gilt last year for the In Bloom category and the group hopes to win gold and hopes the event will be a great way to get more residents involved in the community.

A meeting will take place at the Oasis Community Centre, St. Michael’s Avenue, at 1pm and plan to be back at the Centre at about 3pm for refreshments.

We are doing this as part of Time Credits and equipment will be provided via Fenland District Council.

All children are to be accompanied by an adult.

The group is also looking for volunteer gardeners and these will be working in several locations on the ward.

If you are interested in either of these activities, then please call either Jenna or Chris on 01945 461526 or just turn up on the day.
