I WOULD like to alert readers to a problem with broadband in this area, we have been experiencing problems for over two months and with constant badgering of BT have now found that there is a severe problem with the exchange.

There is a serious amount of broadband usage in March that the exchange cannot handle which is resulting in very slow speeds and constant disconnection.

BT are going to rectify this problem by installing new boards and new lines to deal with the traffic, however broadband customers MAY experience disruption for next 2-3 months whilst this work is carried out.

If you have noticed a difference in your service then this is probably why, also please note that this could possibly affect anyone on landline broadband as all IP (Internet Providers) in this area work via BT exchanges.
