A CLOUD of bright green balloons was launched by staff at Kier Construction in Wisbech to mark the start of their two year partnership with the children’s charity Barnardo’s.
During their Go Green day, employees dressed in green to match the charity’s branding, they donated unwanted foreign currency, feasted on home made green coloured cakes, and donated a variety of items to the local Barnardo’s shop.
The biodegradable helium filled balloons were released at noon, when employees gathered outside their office in South Brink to herald the start of the fund raising partnership.
Graham Howe, Kier Construction managing director, said: “Over the next two years, we hope to make a significant contribution for the children of Barnardo’s. I’d like to thank everyone who participated and helped to make our Go Green day such a success.
