Burglars target Whittlesey community centre and steal television, laptop and cash

A LAPTOP, an LCD television and cash were stolen from a Whittlesey community centre.

Thieves broke into the Whittlesey Youth and Community Centre, in Scaldgate, between 8.30pm on Friday June 29 and 10am on Sunday July 1.

Det Sgt Matt Swash said: “I would like to hear from anyone who has any information about this burglary.

“Not only did the offenders steal valuable equipment, but damage was caused to door frames.”
