FENLAND legal executives Ian Groome and David Cooper were amongst the guests at a celebration evening held by The Institute of Legal Executives at the Houses of Parliament.

The celebration was to honour the appointment of legal executive Ian Ashley-Smith as a judge and also the appointment of the first 100 legal executive partners in solicitors’ practices.

The event was hosted by MP Richard Fuller and amongst the guests meeting and greeting Ian and David were the justice committee chairman Sir Alan Beith, Supreme Court Justice Lord Clarke, and Justice Minister Jonathan Djanogly.

Ian is a partner with Wisbech Solicitors Bowser Ollard & Bentley and has 37 years legal experience. He specialises in conveyancing, wills and winding up estates.

David lives locally and is a partner with Peterborough law firm Taylor Rose Law LLP. He qualified as a legal executive in 1976.
