Little Downham Organs and Bygones raised more than £1,800 for emergency medical charity Magpas.

The event, which has been running for more than 20 years, attracted scores of people to the village to enjoy a quirky mix of vintage machinery and crafts and raised £1806 for Magpas.

Amongst a host of bygones displays in the village hall were working carnival organs, vintage models, antique petrol cans and tobacco tins.

As well as an impressive collection of classic cars, tractors and displays of vintage farm machinery -including a rare 1960s trench rammer, there were stationary engines, miniature steam and military vehicles on display.

Debbie Florence, fundraising manager for Magpas, said “Once again we are overwhelmed with the support we receive each year from the organs and bygones event.

“We would like to thank everyone involved in organising the event, those who attended and the companies that help to sponsor the event. Our Helimedix team were thrilled to meet and personally thank Trevor and Linda Brown when they recently visited our operational base and presented the team with the fantastic donation.”
