A WIMBLINGTON woman hoping to set up a Bridleway Association for the March and Wimblington area wants to hear from other horse riders.

Liz Wright says bridleway associations promote rights of way for riders, organise social rides and arrange for expert speakers to help members on hacking out.

She says the associations are best kept to small areas and there are several in Cambridgeshire, the nearest being Soham and Newmarket.

Mrs Wright said: "It will be very informal. The associations are non-competitive and focus on people who hack out. I would anticipate there would be little or no cost to membership but if we could get a small committee together we can sort these things out."
