POLICE are appealing for witnesses after vehicles were broken into in March and Wisbech.
The thefts took place overnight Saturday in St John’s Road and Grounds Avenue, March, and Larksfield, Wisbech.
Offenders stole a stereo from a Citroen Saxo in St John’s Road after smashing their way into the vehicle between 5pm on Saturday and 10am on Sunday.
A stereo was also stolen from a Ford Ka in Grounds Avenue between 11.45pm on Saturday and 9.30am the following day. Officers are linking these two thefts.
In a separate incident, a sat nav was stolen from a Ford Escort van between 7pm on Saturday and 8.30am on Sunday, in Larksfield, Wisbech.
Det Con Chris Smith said: “I am appealing for people who live in the area and may have heard these crimes happening or saw anyone hanging around or behaving suspiciously.”
