FENLAND service veterans are being invited to an Armed Forces Day celebration in Wisbech Market Place where the town’s youth service groups will honour them with a march past.
The event, supported by the Ministry of Defence and organised by Wisbech Town Council, will include displays from ex forces members and cadet organisations as well as a ceremony at sunset to honour the country’s veterans.
Any group wishing to take part in the day which runs from 10am to 2.30pm should contact Jan or Ray Hutchinson on 01945 584595.
Armed Forces Day is celebrated each year across the country to recognise the work of those who have served in any of the forces.
