Two films have been released to help victims of domestic abuse in Cambridgeshire, providing them with information on how to get support.
One film explains how specialist domestic abuse services run by the county council work to help keep victims safe in the community.
The aim is to provide people with the information needed to contact Outreach directly.
The other film shows how the Independent Domestic Violence Advisory Service works with professional services to help victims who are at high risk of harm to keep themselves and their children safe.
Versions of the film are available in English, Urdu, Punjabi, Polish, Russian and Lithuanian – the Cambridgeshire Deaf Association has also recorded the films in British Sign Language.
Adrian Chapman, service director for community and safety at the county council, said: “We wanted to make these short films available to as many people as possible who are experiencing domestic abuse.
“Whether you speak English, Polish, or Punjabi we want the message to be clear - support is there for people who are experiencing domestic abuse.
“If you are fearful of your partner, walking on eggshells, worried about what will happen when they return home, having money restricted or are worried someone you care about is, please take a look and let people know these resources are available.”
Information on support for survivors and friends or family who may be worried about someone experiencing domestic abuse can be found on the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Partnership website: www.cambsdasv.org.uk
