CAMBRIDGESHIRE’S first Police and Crime Commissioner has reflected on six months in the job.
Sir Graham Bright, who was elected in November last year, said: “It has been an exceptionally busy six months as I have replaced a committee of 17 with just one.
“While this has speeded things up a lot, getting around to hear from and speak to everyone has been a challenge.
“But I’m pleased with what has been achieved and I’m looking forward in the next six months and beyond to working with an excellent Chief Constable and his team.”
He pledged in his Police and Crime Plan to make policing more visible while producing £10million in savings by 2016.
