THE first results from Fenland is in – and both have seen victories for the Conservatives.
John Clark has retained his March West seat with a comfortable win. He polled 1,023 votes, with Charlotte Goodhall-Perry second for Labour with 402 and Heather Kinnear polling 271 for the Liberal Democrats.
The other result announced so far is the Whittlesey South division, which was also won comfortably by Ralph Butcher.
Cllr Butcher returns to Shire Hall having polled 990 votes, compared to English Democrat Stephen Goldspink’s 536 votes and Labour candidate Aidan Hervey’s 302 votes.
