CAMBS: Man who burgled house on Christmas Day jailed for three years

A MAN who burgled a house in Cambridgeshire on Christmas Day has been jailed for three years.

Dean Wright, 29, of Little Close, Eye, pleaded guilty and was sentenced at Peterborough Crown Court on Thursday December 30.

He broke into the house, on High Street, at around 5pm while the owners were out and stole two laptops.

CCTV from nearby businesses helped to identify Wright and he was arrested on December 30.
