Cambs Times editor to open the extension at Skylark Garden Centre

FREE bacon rolls are on offer for the first 50 customers who pass through the cafe doors at Skylark Garden Centre in Wimblington, after their extension is opened by Cambs Times editor John Elworthy at 10am on Good Friday.

This will be the start of an Easter open weekend extravaganza; on Easter Monday there will be an Easter egg hunt, face painting, and a personal appearance by children’s TV favourite Peppa Pig.

The Fens Adventurers Rural Development Programme part funded the Caf Skylark expansion. Programme manager Mike Carter said: The Local Action Group has been pleased to support the investment with a grant of over 50,000 to help double the space available for diners.”
