THE March Camera Club competed against Ely last Thursday in a print and slide battle at its base at the British Red Cross hall. The competition, comprising 10 print entries and 10 slide entries from each club, was judged by Dave Stewart from Market Deeping.
March were winners in the print section by 80 points to 78, with Steve Williams and John Band each achieving a maximum 10 for March. In the slide section March lost, scoring 74 points against Ely's 80, with Chris Ley and Peter James each scoring a nine for March.
Overall March lost the battle the final result being: Ely 161 points. March 154.
