ANYTHING, of course, to assist the debate over whether March or Wisbech is the capital of the Fens, so here goes my contribution.
On the left hand page of another local publication is the headline 'The King is coming to Wisbech', which, of course, would suggest Wisbech can be accorded premier status (actually the story is about the Operatic Society's latest production).
The facing page, however, announces the news that 'Jesus Christ is Coming', though not as it happens to Wisbech but to March (and this an advertisement for a public meeting).
So there you have it, unresolved as ever.
