TEENAGER Aaron Fowler put his new car through its paces in the City Road car park at March, revving the engine, driving fast and spinning the wheels.
Fowler, 19, of Lode Way, Chatteris, admitted driving without due care and attention when he appeared before Fenland magistrates on Tuesday.
"Another car had just done it, and my friend said my car would not be able to do it," he told the court.
"Me being me, I wanted to prove it would - it was a challenge."
He was fined £150 with £35 costs and five points were added to his licence.
