A car was deliberately set on fire on the B1093 near to Marriots Drove, Whittlesey on Monday evening.
Fire crews arrived on the scene at around 10.16pm and discovered a transit van well alight.
Two firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus, used two hose reels to extinguish the fire, which is believed to have been started deliberately.
The crew returned to their station at 11.30pm.
