Caravan fire in Friday Bridge was deliberate, say fire service

A caravan was deliberately set on fire in Friday Bridge.

The incident happened on Needham Bank at 10.16pm yesterday (May 13).

One crew from Wisbech and Outwell, in Norfolk, were called to the scene.

Firefighters used a hose to extinguish the fire, before returning to their station by 12.25pm.

A spokesperson from Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The cause of the fire was deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police by visiting www.cambs.police.uk to submit an online report or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
