Cash and jewellery taken from Fenland home during overnight burglary

THIEVES stole cash and jewellery from a March home during an overnight burglary.

The offenders broke into the house in Knights End Road between 9.30pm on Thursday and 8.45am the following day. They stole money, jewellery, a camcorder and an MP3 player.

Police are also investigating an attempted break-in last Monday (April 18) in Creek Road, March, between 10pm and 6.30am the following day.

Offenders tried to open a bay window at the front of the home which is at the Station Road end of Creek Road.

Detective Constable Kayleigh O’Brien said: “I’m keen to speak to anyone who was in the area of these incidents and saw anyone acting suspiciously.

“Any information, no matter how small, could prove important to our investigation.”
