A CASUALTY had to be cut free by firefighters after a two vehicle crash in Whittlesey.

The accident happened in Blunts Lane, at the roundabout with the A605, at 9.40am on Monday (October 29).

The casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance after crews from Whittlesey and Stanground used specialist cutting equipment.

They were assisted by rescue vehicles from Huntingdon and Dogsthorpe and returned to their fire stations by 10.50am.
