A 10 year old Cavalry Primary pupil has been chosen as the carnival princess to lead the parade for this year's March Summer Festival.

Caitlin’s interests include horse riding and karate.
The 2017 Festival is in West End Park March from June 9 to 11.
March Summer Festival is a major community event which has been running alongside the March Lions Club Gala in its present form since 2000.
An open-air stage is set up in West End Park for a weekend and the programme encompasses music and activities to appeal to all ages and tastes.
The aim is to bring the community together to celebrate and enjoy local musical and dance talent.
On Friday night there are a host of bands organised this year by Tom Harlock.
On Saturday the parade of classic cars, walkers and floats officially opens the weekend.
Many of the classic cars will be parked at the far end of the park following the parade for closer inspection.
On the stage are presentations and prizes for the parade and fancy dress followed by the popular dance acts and Pop in the Park - the bands headlined by All Glammed Up playing some of the glam hits of the 70s.
There is a flower power summer of love theme for the fancy dress this year.
Sunday’s Picnic in the Park has a difference with a blues band to headline the evening and a slightly earlier finish.
Compere for the weekend is Gary Tustin.
Away from the stage Saturday will also have the Lions Gala in the Park as well as fairground rides over the weekend and, on Sunday, children’s entertainment and a fun dog show - including a chance to meet and greet Wanda the rFor full details of the weekend visit the March Summer Festival website.
