MOTORBIKE one-stop-shop specialists in Chatteris will be holding a charity day this weekend to raise money for the medical emergency team MAGPAS.

The day will be held at 2WheelJunkie’s store alongside the A142 bypass at Chatteris.

Music and food will be on offer during the day while the shop opens its doors for a massive warehouse clearance sale of biking bargains.

Paul Hanley, managing director of 2WheelJunkie, said Magpas was often called out to motorbike crashes and they wanted to do their bit to help keep the important service running.

Magpas costs £2.5m a year of donated money to run life-saving frontline emergency medical cover by both car and helicopter to patients across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Peterborough and Ely.

Mr Hanley will donate 5% of all warehouse sales on the day to Magpas and will be running a collection on the day.

The charity day takes place on Saturday 8 June from 9-5 at their base at Unit 2, Farm Park, Short Night Layers Drove, Chatteris PE16 6FH.
