A HAIRDRESSING student has beaten students from all over the country to win a top style award.
Lucie Tulett, an advanced apprentice at the College of West Anglia’s Isle Campus, entered the Affinage competition with an avant garde portfolio and scooped first place.
The 19-year-old, who works at Just Hair in Chatteris, said: “The Affinage competitions was a great experience and allowed me to express my creative skills. I am now working extra hard for the National Student of the year competition heats held in London on July 4.”
Michelle Prior, Course Director, said: “We worked closely with our photography department to produce some stunning images to fully represent the student creations. I am extremely proud of all the students that participated, they all worked really hard creating some fabulous images, and Lucie deserves her success.
“Our students are now hard preparing for their end of term hair and beauty show ‘Isle Inspire’ held at the end of next month.”
