Two boys sold loom bands and raised £80 towards an appeal to extend a cancer centre where their nan has been receiving treatment.
Brothers Riley and Keaton Astley, who are 10 and seven, of Chatteris, wanted to do something to help Mandy Pears, of Angoods Lane, Chatteris, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in January.
So they set about turning the latest craze into cash and persuaded family and friends to buy the bracelets they made.
They handed over a cheque at the Woodlands Cancer Centre at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Huntingdon, where Mrs Pears has completed her chemo and is about to start radiotherapy.
Mrs Pears also thanked Lydia Payne of The Sportsman in Chatteris, after she raised £220 for the Woodlands appeal by donating the proceeds of two raffles held during bingo sessions.
