Terry Harris captured the stunning images after he flew his drone camera over the town on Tuesday December 15. 

He said: "I don't know if I did it justice, but the display looks brilliant from above. It's definitely worth going to see the town all lit up.

Having waited for the right weather so he could send his drone up, he added: "Looking down from the air just gives it something extra.

Reg Tibbits, of the Chatteris Christmas Lights Committee, said: "If you start to count the individual LEDs on every twinkling string and icicle strand then you probably need to add another 10,000.
