A Chatteris company has lent a hand at the town’s bowls club with a donation for £100.

Commercial director of Metalcraft, Martin Lawrence, stopped by at Chatteris Town Bowls Club’s opening day on Saturday and handed over funds which will be used to help the club refurbish its clubhouse bar.

Martin even bowled the first wood of the day before a drive with five rinks took place.
