Chatteris estate agents give festive food for thought

Donations from local people have been boxed up at a Chatteris estate agents to help families in need of a festive boost.

Colleagues at Harrison Murray Estate Agency collected non-perishable food from members of the public at their High Street branch.

The donations will be handed over to the Chatteris Foodbank (part of the Trussell Trust Ely Foodbank) in time to be included in Christmas food parcels.

Sales negotiator Myra Alvin said: “We can’t thank people enough for the kind donations we have received.

“It just goes to show how caring Chatteris locals are.”
