CHATTERIS firefighters raised a total of 384.57 on Saturday during a charity car wash.
The car wash was a great success, with more than 100 cars passing through the gates of Chatteris Fire Station.
Firefighters used hose reels and ‘firefighter power’ to ensure that every car was gleaming by the time it left.
All proceeds will go to The Fire Fighters Charity, an organisation which helps 13,000 men, women and children from the fire community every year.
Andrew Stracey, a firefighter at Chatteris Fire Station, said: “I’d like to thank everyone who came to the car wash and who gave so generously for charity.”
