Chatteris Conservative Club raised £910 after being invaded by witches, ghouls and ghosts for a family Halloween event.
People from all over the area including Wisbech and March attended the event which was held to raise money for Thorpe Hall Hospice.
Nick Wright, the club’s sports and social secretary, organised the party as a thank-you for the care given by the hospice to David Stocker of Doddington, who sadly lost his battle with a brain tumour this week.
Mr Wright said: “It was my way of saying thanks for all the support the hospice gave to him and his family during this last weeks’ of life.’
