MUSIC students from Cromwell Community College had a lesson to remember today as they were treated to a visit from a rising pop star.
Lola James, who studied at the same school as singing sensation Pixie Lott, performed for more than 50 students in Chatteris this morning.
The 21-year-old, from Bury St Edmunds, is a classically-trained singer songwriter who has been singing since she was nine.
Three years ago she reached the finals of Open Mic UK - a national competition for unsigned artists.
Jackie Harding, from Cromwell, said: “Lola sang to the Year 9 students and got them involved. One boy even showed Lola his singing skills by performing to the class too.”
