Students from the Cromwell Community College in Chatteris battled the elements to soak up a chunk of American culture with a recent trip to the ‘Big Apple’.
Ninety-two year 11 pupils together with 12 members of staff flew to New York for a week of sight seeing and fun during half-term.
During their stay at the Skyline hotel the pupils got to see the world-famous Empire State Building, The Rockefeller Center, Circle Tours River Cruise of the Manhattan Island, a visit to the Museum of Natural History - made famous in the films ‘Night at the Museum’.
Karen Chapman, from the college said: “Once again for the fifth year running Cromwell pupils were praised by the Skyline hotel staff and United Airlines for their exemplary behaviour.”
